GROHE EcoMode technology reduces the use of hot water by allowing only cold water to flow when faucet handle is in the center positon, gradually increasing hot water as handle is rotated to the left. With the handle in the center position, the energy-saving technology is activated as the faucet is no longer opened in mixed hot/cold water mode, avoiding the unnecessary heating of water for daily routines. From the center position, the handle can only be turned to the left so the user does not draw warm water unnecessarily, resulting in both resource and cost savings over time.
